Stella Blue Kabocha WSQ-5386
Rich, sweet, very dry flesh--a Hokkaido type winter squash. This was a huge hit in our taste test. Productive, too. Slate-blue, like Sweetmeat but with a different, equally sweet flavor and that kubocha rich, dry flesh. Bred for organic growing, drought-resistant, and keeps well. Delicious roasted, baked, fried (tempura!) or in soups. From the breeder who gave us the Dark Star zucchini.
