This 3" round Chinese radish is red on the inside and green/white on the outside, with a unique juicy sweet taste.
It is for summer to fall sowing only and will bolt if sown in spring.
Makes a beautiful addition to salads, veggie platters, stir-fry, and can also be used for pickling.
BOTANICAL NAME: Raphanus sativus
This variety is for fall planting only. It is prone to bolt when days are lengthening. Very hardy-sow continuously from midsummer to 1 month before frost. Plant seeds 2" apart or broadcast carefully, covering with ½" of fine soil firmly pressed down. Matures in 3-4 weeks. Early, quick growing, and suitable for greenhouse forcing. Be sure to keep radishes growing continuously, and harvest when young. Will not do well under drought conditions. Stagger planting for continuous harvest.

Harvest when roots are the size of a large marble or about 3-4 weeks after sowing. Topped radishes will keep best if stored at 32F and 95% humidity for up to 3-4 weeks.
