Soak seeds before planting: Cascadia has a thick seed coat to protect it-germination can be slow. Best to plant in succession. Peas are hardy but cannot take heat, so plant as early as the soil can be worked. Plant 4" apart into non-acid, well-drained soil. Plant ┬Ż" deep and keep the soil cool and moist. Assure adequate calcium, phosphorous, and potash. Inoculant increases yield. Pick all ripe peas so more will form. Prolific peas

These peas just keep producing. Plant a lot and you'll get a lot. Plenty for fresh eating and freezing for later. What surprised me about these peas most is the fact that they are juicy! I would recommend staking as they can get quite tall. These will be my staple pea variety.
