GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Start in flats or direct seed. Cold frames extend season. Best flavor if growth is fast, ensure soil has adequate nitrogen, aeration, water, lime. In hot climates use shade cloth mid-day to keep plants cool, plant under taller crops, or locate in a spot with morning sun only. Succession-sow every 3 weeks. Seed that has been stored over 80 degrees may need a week in the fridge before planting to ensure germination.
