Mild and very juicy, perfect for winter salads. Could be thought of as a "looseleaf" nappa cabbage for salad or very brief cooking. Sprouts quickly for baby leaves in salad mix.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Start in flats and transplant to 6" centers or direct-sow. Best taste when plants can grow fast, so have well-manured soil with adequate nitrogen. Can take light frosts and will do well under glass. Young seedlings susceptible to insect damage. Begin to harvest leaves as soon as well formed and of good green color.
