New sweet corn
from traditional plant breeder Jonathan Spero at Lupine Knoll Farm in Oregon. He has been working to bring a little more sweetness into open-pollinated sweet corn, and Tuxana is his work in progress. A customer told us that the Tuxana she got nice well-filled ears for the first time.
Big white kernels are sweeter than most open-pollinated corns, with good eating quality.
