Start seeds in flats or sow ¼ inch deep and 12" apart directly into beds after all danger of frost has passed. Keep soil moist until seedlings are established, but after that water sparingly. Does best under dry, warm conditions. Harvest when seedheads mature and dry out. Can be threshed and winnowed by hand. /p>
