Seedlings may not transplant well. Best started directly in garden after all danger of frost is past and the soil is warm. You may wish to sow seeds in a pot and transplant 6" apart, when they are about 3" high. Keep well watered. A delicate annual which requires a warm, sunny location in well-composted soil. The plants will die at the first frost. Grows to a height of 1-2'. You can begin to harvest the leaves when plants are 4-6" high.
