Tiny seedlings emerge within two weeks. Planted in fall or early spring. It blooms in summer, with white and blue flowers with distinctive inflated calyces. A low-dose botanical, used in small amounts for coughs, asthma and spasms. Hard to find, but a great addition to the semi-shade garden
