Seedlings may not transplant well-best to sow in pots or in place, just pressing into a fine seedbed and keeping moist. Needs light to germinate, so retina moisture with a jar or other clear cover. Germination may take 2 weeks, so be patient and keep moist. A delicate annual which requires a warm, sunny location in well composted soil. The plants will die back at the first frost, or may be brought indoors. Grows to 2'-become a taller bush in frost-free climates.
