Very quick maturing, considered the choicest in flavor if you can hull it.
High alkaline content counteracts acids and makes it easily digested.
Grows 1-4' high and produces a profusion of small, round seeds. Not easy to hull, but try an old-fashioned laundry wringer.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Plant after last frost 7": apart in well-worked soil with good nutrients. Soil must be warm for seed to sprout. Keep watered-not as much as corn but a steady small amount. It goes dormant in drought & continues growth with water, the best growth is continuous. Cut seedheads few days before ripening & sun dry to harvest before the birds get the seed.
