Flowers hummingbirds love to feed on,
in their favorite colors of reds, purples, pinks, and lavenders.
A simple way to keep cats from breaking down the plants in chase of hummers is to scatter short pieces of thorny twigs on the ground after planting.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS :
Choose a sunny spot and loosen the soil before planting. Broadcast over a 100 square foot area in early spring or in the fall. Rake gently into the soil or cover with a thin layer of soil to protect sees from birds. The bed must be kept moist for 14-21 days for germination. Seeds planted in the fall may not appear until the following spring.
