Some people feel these deter symphylans-please let us know of your experience. Doesn't transplant well, sow directly into bed, covering very lightly if al all-best to dig bed and rake to fine tilth, then mix the seed with a gallon of soil and broadcast that. Sow in fall or very early spring, and may sow again one month later for long bloom. Like light soils all the way into the sandy/gravelly range. Give a little humus when preparing bed. Can plant in falls for rains to trigger germination.
