GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: This perennial prefers full sun and a moist soil. Seeds should be sown in early spring or in fall. If spring, either plan while soil is still cold or give 2 weeks of cold-conditioning (refrigerate the moist pots)before planting. Best results from direct seeding; if transplanting, it must be done when plants are quite small, before the taproot is large.
