Beautiful blue annual wildflower that fixes nitrogen and tolerates poor, rocky soil.
Fall-planted in zone 7 and above. Best mixed with poppies, phacelia, barley for winter cover.All other areas plant very early spring-grows during cool or warm weather and dies back when weather gets very hot or dry.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:Soak seeds 1-2 days before planting. Seed coats are very thick-those that swell in water are ready to sprout (those that don't swell should be rubbed briefly on sandpaper to let the moisture in.) Does not like transplanting so broadcast and rake in so that seed is covered. Fall-planted in zone 7 and above.
