Start in flats and transplant on 5" centers or broadcast thinly by raking soil thoroughly first and covering with a thin later of soil after planting. If broadcasting, mix seed with fine soil to add bulk for easier spreading. May need protection from birds until established. Prefers a fine, firm seed bed. Established, it will last for several years. Approximatley 17 weeks to first cutting, additional cuttings every 9 weeks. Overwintering perennial.
