A Forest Garden Year ... BTR-1673

Martin Crawford, 2010, 49 min.

DVDs and Videos

Martin's garden is a wonderful example of what can be done with a minimum of effort to produce an abundant crop of unusual edible trees, plants, shrubs and ground cover. How to apply the principles of forest gardening to spaces big and small. Martin takes his viewers through the seasons in his Devon, England forest garden (zone 8 or 9) and shows them how to plan their planting to mimic the layering, density and diversity of a forest. Good emphasis in symbiotic plants and soil building, as in using comfrey under fruit trees. There is great information on grafting.
