for cool climates or the first precious fruit in early summer.
You never know what the future holds--so we always plant at least one of these just in case!
These tomatoes can set fruit without warm temperatures to ripen their pollen. They require fewer heat units to ripen the fruit and to make the sugars and esters that give them flavor. They are also more tolerant of cloudy skies with lower light levels than other tomatoes. They are perfect for coastal climates, the mountains, and other areas that do not get many total hours of heat and/or bright sunlight over the course of the season.
